The first Sea Turtle Nest on the New Beach was observed on July 27th. With only 1/3 of the Beach renourished, a mother Sea Turtle crawled from the Gulf and laid 129 eggs. In approximately two months baby sea turtles will be hatching and making their way back to the Gulf.
